Found a nice tumblr via @boingboing about computer code used on screen in film & TV called moviecode. Nothing on the computer screen is related to what the actor doing or working on. Funny.

I would love to believe that when I die I will live again, that some thinking, feeling, remembering part of me will continue. But much as I want to believe that, and despite the ancient and worldwide cultural traditions that assert an afterlife, I know of nothing to suggest that it is more than wishful thinking. The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there’s little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides.

This verse is quite wonderful. A real tongue twister. But still a great primer for pronunciation.
Dearest creature in creation, Study English pronunciation.

Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse.

But be careful how you speak:

Finally, which rhymes with enough, Though, through, plough, or dough, or cough?
Hiccough has the sound of cup.

The Spielberg Face
The Spielberg Face is a video essay about a near trademark shot in Steven Spielberg films. This shot consists of a dolly shot to a close up of a face in a state of awe from some unseen act or action. While this shot is not exactly a unique to Spielberg, it appears more often in his films and has been elevated to new heights in Steven Spielberg films.
